1-1 with our Teaching Assistant for Statistical Data Analysis

The Statistical Data Analysis sprint is hard! And sometimes, even after posting your question on Slack or attending a workshop/Q&A, you may still be struggling with a particular portion of the theory or piece of code. In that case, we can arrange a 1-1 session with our Teaching Assistant for Statistical Data Analysis.

Rules of the 1-1:

  • To schedule 1-1 session, please contact your Teaching Assistant in private messages and describe your problem in detail.

  • The TA will look over your problem. If this topic can be answered in a written form and can be beneficial to other students as well, they’ll repost the question in Slack and provide an answer there.

  • If this a problem which requires a more personal approach, they’ll send you a link with their schedule and available time slots. They might also send you additional materials to read before 1-1.

  • You’ll need to choose the time slot that suits you and book it (we use Calendly for easy scheduling). If the TA has asked you to go over additional materials for the meeting, please make sure you give yourself time to do that and book accordingly.

  • The session lasts up to 30 minutes maximum. During the session you’ll discuss the problems that you agreed on beforehand. Of course, you can ask other questions, but only after the TA covers the problem that’s been bothering you. For all other problems that don’t fit into one session, the TA can offer you to book another 1-1 or attend a workshop/Q&A.

Good luck on your SDA journey!
